i had an accident and took my car to an auto repair shop?

today i needed to get some books out of my car so i went to the shop. when i got there my car was not there i waited 30 min just to see a man pull into the shop with my car! i sat and observed the man take out a car part from my trunk. i then walked over to confront the manager and inspect my car…. there was a big grease stain and sweaters as i they have been driving it. my car got side swiped that’s the reason why it was in the shop in the first place and i know that they had no right to be driving my car especially using it to go pick up parts for other cars…. is there any legal steps i can take?

They have absolutely no reason to use your car to get parts. All auto part stores deliver nowadays anyway. Remove your car from their shop and if you decide to still let them do the repairs, then tell them you want a huge discount for them on making money by using your car for their daily trips to get parts to make money on other customers cars there. Check and read your repair agreement, i am sure that there is nothing in your agreement allowing them to use your car for their own use and i am sure that there is no permission on your part in writing saying they can use your car.
