is there a software for auto repair?

OK so i’m a mechanic, i don’t work as a mechanic but i do my own oil changes and repairs. is there any free software where i could print out my own maintenance records to have when i sell my car

If you just want to keep maint. records, you can use OpenOffice ( for free) to keep your records.
Just simply use the spreadsheet to keep them.
Column 1 (vertical) name the maint. done.
Column 2 Name the date
Column 3 Where you got the part, if applicable
Column 4 list price if applicable
Column 5 Contact info of place of purchase. ( phone #, address, web address, ect)

Always use the same spreadsheet for everything! That way you only have one to print, & it makes it look more believable. Also, keep it in an external hard drive, so that if you get virused, it’s protected. Plus, it will work on any computer you buy in the future as long as you keep the same platform type. (meaning Windows, Mac, Linux, what ever you may use must stay the same for the data to to be transferrable. It does not need to be the EXACT platform, such as XP Vista, 7, ect…Just the same brand!)
