Car engine repair for a low price in Houston, TX?
I have a 1997 Geo Prizm. I need a new engine. My local mechanic wants to charge me $1700 for the repairs. Does anyone know of any auto shops/mechanics who could fix my car for a MUCH CHEAPER PRICE?
Hate 2 tell ya, but $1700 is a very reasonable price. Lower price could mean less quality of parts and repair which could lead to more total cost later.
Just an idea, but have you checked buying another running Geo, could not be 2 much more than the engine cost and you could finance it.
