Auto Repair For Dummies Cars
I want to be more than a backyard mechanic, but don’t need to be ASE certified.?
Where can I learn more than “auto repair for dummies”? I don’t need to be ASE certified, but would like to learn more. Are there good books/classes/ etc….?
I have an affinity for late 1980s Camaros/Firebirds, but am nervous about buying one due to age/wear. I have always had an interest in cars, but never had the resources to learn much about them other than shows on TV.
Haynes and Chilton manuals are great for learning the basics about most cars
I would suggest a cheaper, less sporty car to try out on first. Could save you a lot of money!
