The events of 2008 are nothing short of amazing.  The unpopularity of President Bush has led to the beginning of a new era in politics.  In the last few months, we have voted in a new president and congress with new ideas for our country, and at the same time are experiencing a tremendous shakeup in our financial markets.  The federal government is taking ownership of banks and major corporations with huge bailouts, and the people need relief from a system that has them reeling from a debt driven economy.  States and cities have large deficits, and we need businesses to create jobs, especially for many displaced workers.
