Auto air conditioning inspection at no cost w/written estimate available in N. Jersey USA?

I am aware the air conditioning is not working and my brother who sold me the car thinks it only needs to be pumped up, but I want the root of the problem solved. Have a serious cash flow complication and would want an estimate for future repair.

I don’t what to sound disrespectful but you will never get a fully complete free estimate for what is wrong with you’re a/c or anything because only shops that charge you will do a complete checkout of the system.

Also remember that when you get this done and you do not get it repaired for say 6 to 12 months or longer the old freon and oil that is sitting in the system can create a acid that can in many situation cause further damage.

Shops that don’t charge and these are chains stores have minimum wage workers that don’t understand what they are doing and I see this time after time when someone comes into the shop with a free estimate that that got from someone else.
