Do I have a Dimished Value Case?

I got into an auto accident 1 month ago. Not my fault and the other party insurer paid the damges. The truck was borderline totaled but was decided to fix it. Repairs were $8000 not including tow bills and my rental truck for a month. It is still in the shop in fact. Two weeks prior to the accident I had the truck appraised for trade in and they were willing to give $12000. I had it appraised today for trade again with the truck still in the body shop because it is almost finished. The truck is now appraised at $6000 just because of the fact it has a accident on it’s history. It is a 2003 Ford Ranger 4X4 fully loaded and I live in Nevada. The other party insurer is Allstate.
